The Loki Clan Wolf Refuge (LCWR) Provides a safe haven for wolf-dogs where they are able to live out their lives in pack situations. All Animals are housed in large, natural enclosures; an ideal life for these special creatures. Fred Keating, the founder of LCWR, started taking in animals over 15 years ago when a small pack of wolf dogs lived in his back yard. Soon the organization outgrew his 3 acre lot and was moved deep into the woods of Chatham, NH. A few years after moving to Chatham, a large parcel of land adjacent to the facility was acquired. With the help of many contributors and volunteers, over 13 one-acre enclosures have been constructed. Plans are now in the works to keep building more in order to rescue additional wolf dogs in need of sanctuary. Volunteer labor as well as financial contributions are always needed to continue these efforts. How can you help? to support daily maintenence & secondly, money for fencing & supplies. The refuge is actively seeking people to solicit fence companies for donations of chain link, do grant writing, and volunteer work. The LCWR is supported 100% by small grants, and private donations.
